This blog article includes cafes that have indoor play/toys/kids activities (not just colouring sheets) that are FREE to use when purchasing food/drink from the cafe (no entry fee/extra cost). This should come in handy on those rainy days and when watching the pennies.

There is a small corner of toys suitable for preschoolers. Free to use when visiting the coffee shop for food or drink. There’s an outdoor enclosed area too for warmer days.

There is a corner with board games and puzzles to enjoy when visiting this cafe.

*It is also only a short walk to West Park Nature Reserve and play area to combine with on warmer days.

They have a free play corner with books, colouring in and small activities which alternate. Free to enjoy when visiting the cafe.

*They also offer a free sensory play installation room which changes seasonally, so I've not included images of this. Please check their page for the most up to date info on this. There’s also an outdoor play area with preschool activities.

There is a role play kitchen and small toy area as well as a baby corner and books to read. Free to use when visiting their cafe.

*They also have a heated swimming pool, interactive play room and sensory room (extra cost for these). The free play as shown in images is part of their cafe area.

They have a free play corner inside the restaurant.

*You can also visit their play tunnel and Potters World Bird and Reptile Centre for an extra cost. Read my write up from one of our visits here

There is a free play room inside the restaurant with toys suitable for babies, toddlers and young children. These are free to enjoy when dining in the restaurant.

*There are also outdoor animals to see on the farm and an outdoor play area which are both free to enjoy when visiting, plus there is a small softplay vailable to book at an extra cost. Have a read of my post from a visit here

There are some table top card games/puzzles to play with in the cafe when visiting.

*There are also animal paddocks and outdoor play (small cost) for warmer days
